When our good friends asked me to photograph their wedding in Thailand it didn’t take a lot of thinking about!
There’s always more emotion when you go to a wedding of someone you know well, and i’ve witnessed the day they got together, the day they moved in next door to us, the day their beautiful baby boy was born and now to witness them tying the knot was something very special.
The wedding took place in a stunning villa on the beach of Koh Samui. As Pat is Australian it was only right that the festivities began with free flowing champagne for the ladies and mojito’s for the manly. The ceremony began as the sun set and Emma walked down the sandy aisle with her Father to meet Pat. After a unique ceremony which included a traditional Thai sand ritual the new Mr & Mrs Doherty enjoyed a stunning Thai banquet and lots of dancing in to the early hours of the morning!
